Our queens are bred from a carefully selected blend of Italian and Carniolan genetics. Over the years we have brought in many excellent breeder queens from reputable breeders to make sure our stock is diverse and preforms well under varying conditions.

To support excellent mating success, we maintain multiple drone-producing yards surrounding our mating yard, providing an abundance of strong, desirable drones. All queens are produced on a three-week schedule, allowing adequate time for pheromone development before caging and sufficient opportunity to evaluate their performance.

Our breeding program emphasizes gentleness, frugality, strong honey production, and improved mite resistance.
