OUR STORY

Welcome to our family farm, where our journey began in 2014 as a small sheep farm built on family values and a love for the land. Over time, our passion evolved, leading us to rediscover the fascinating world of beekeeping, an endeavor that soon became the heart of our operation.

Beekeeping has deep roots in our family. Tyler was first introduced to bees as a child, learning alongside his grandfather who raised bees and passed down a respect for these incredible pollinators. That early experience planted the seed for what would later grow into a full-time calling.

Originally based in Texas, our family made an exciting move to Georgia in 2025 to focus solely on our beekeeping business. Today, the farm is proudly operated by Tyler, Kate, and their son Jonathan. We’re honored to call Madison County home and look forward to sharing our love for bees, honey, and sustainable agriculture with our community.

Thank you for joining us on this sweet journey—from our hives to your home.

Queen Bee

Queen BEES

The queen bee is the heart of a thriving hive. We prioritize maintaining a high-quality queen stock through a multifaceted approach:

  • Selective Breeding: We select and utilize high quality breeder queens from reputable sources to enhance the genetic diversity and overall health of our bees.  Traits we focus on are gentleness, frugality and Varroa resistance.

  • Drone Saturation: We strategically manage our apiary to ensure a high concentration of desirable drones in the mating area, maximizing the chances of successful matings with strong genetics.

  • Thorough Evaluation: Before offering queens or nucs for sale, we provide ample time for the queen to establish her brood pattern and pheromone levels. This allows us to thoroughly assess her performance and ensure she meets our high standards.

By implementing these practices, we strive to provide our customers with strong, productive queens that will contribute to healthy and successful hives.

raw honey

Our raw honey is crafted with care by our bees right here in North Georgia. We prioritize preserving its natural goodness and do not filter with heat or pressure. Instead, we use gravity to gently strain our honey through a fine mesh filter, capturing only larger debris. This method preserves the natural pollen and tiny wax particles, contributing to the honey's purity, unique flavor and potential health benefits.
