How to Place an Order for nucleus colonies
Welcome to Trinity Oaks Bee Company's online store! If you are interested in purchasing nucleus colonies then you can reserve them through our website and then pay at pickup. To reserve nucs just add them to your cart and when it comes time to pay simply select offline payment. After you order online we will contact you about pickup dates and times.
How does ordering and shipping queens work
To order queens, simply visit our store, select the quantity you would like, choose a ship date, and complete checkout. If you are located in North Georgia and prefer to pick up your queens in person, please select local pickup instead of shipping.
If you require shipping, be sure to enter the correct delivery address during checkout to ensure your queens arrive at the proper location. Once your order ships, you will receive a notification along with tracking information.
Shipping options include UPS Overnight or USPS Priority Mail.
How do you raise your queens
Our queens are grafted from proven, high-quality genetics. We frequently use instrumentally inseminated breeder queens sourced from reputable breeders to ensure consistency and reliability. Only queens with desirable, tested traits are selected for breeding.
We maintain strong drone populations in our mating areas, as we believe abundant, healthy drones contribute to queen longevity and overall quality. After mating, queens are given ample time to lay and establish strong pheromone levels and confidence before being caged.
Our mating nucs operate on a three-week cycle, and queens are allowed to lay on deep frames, providing plenty of room for proper development.
What kind of bees are you selling
At Trinity Oaks Bee Company, we sell the same bees we use in our own operation. Temperament is our top culling criterion—aggressive bees are not tolerated. While any colony can have an off day, we focus on raising queens with consistently good temperaments.
Our bees incorporate strong VSH traits to improve varroa resistance and overall health. While we still treat for mites, these genetics help colonies stay healthier between treatments. Our stock is a diverse blend of Italian, Carniolan, and Caucasian genetics, balancing strong spring buildup with frugality and efficiency.

Returns & Refunds Policy
We strive to provide high-quality queens and nucleus colonies. Any colonies or queens that do not meet our standards are rigorously culled, and only the best are offered for sale.
Due to the nature of selling live bees and the many factors beyond our control after the sale, we do not offer guarantees or accept returns on live bees. In certain situations, we may choose to provide a warranty or replacement at our discretion and on a case-by-case basis.
